Tell us a bit about yourself:

I have been a full-time freelance writer since 2018, though I’ve been writing professionally since 2016 (unless you count a poem of mine that my mom had published in a children’s anthology).

These days, I produce long-form content for business clients in the finance + investing space, local journalism, and some creative stuff I hope one day to reveal.

I’m a left-handed, red-headed, Aquarius creative who prides herself on being different. My favorite words are (in order) crepuscular, hiraeth, kismet, and stravenue.

I spend a lot of my free time being outdoors, reading books (catch me on Goodreads!), and taking care of my two pups who I adopted straight from the streets of Koh Phangan, Thailand. I am originally from Delaware but have also lived in Vermont, Ireland, and Thailand.

What drew you to The Candy  Factory?

I was looking for a place to go to energize me to produce awesome content. I quickly learned it’s the people, not just the awesome elevator, that will keep me coming back. As a self-employed person who works on her own, I forgot what it feels like to be a part of something in a professional setting. I can already tell I’m regaining that in the best way possible!
