Meet Lenore Bajare-Dukes, a facilitator, community storyteller, and peacebuilder.
Lenore creates and facilitates spaces for people to gather in community and create something good together. That might look like helping people share their perspectives on sensitive topics, telling one another stories through Playback Theatre, creating visual systems maps to analyze complex issues, evaluating their organizations’ work and envisioning its future, or strategizing to transform the social systems in which we live.
Lenore is a relatively recent transplant from Charlottesville, Virginia, and is enjoying getting to know Lancaster through community organizations and bakery work. This year, Lenore is looking forward to building her consulting practice with more facilitations. She loves communicating across language and cultural differences and speaks fluent French and English, and basic Spanish and Arabic.
When asked about coworking, she says, “I like not only having space to work but also interactions with people who share that working space. Hearing what others are working on and sharing my own work, to stimulate productivity and creative thought.”
Make sure to say hi to Lenore the next time you see her in The Candy Factory.
