Meet Jen Reiner!
Jen is President of Align, Ltd—a consulting practice which helps entrepreneurs and small businesses grow by enhancing their business model, developing new products and services, implementing a competitive strategy, and increasing the yield in their sales process. Her business’s core services assist companies with business development, innovation, design thinking, and consultative selling. Jen’s talent is both analytical and creative, as well as strategic and tactical.
She teaches a graduate course in entrepreneurship to business professionals at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, and corporate training for CorpU, an industry leader in cohort-based online learning. Topics she teaches include negotiations, business decision making, positive leadership, and business model innovation. She has a Master’s in Business Administration from Penn State University.
Prior to establishing Align, Ltd, Jen was the Director of The PA Governor’s Office Innovation where she worked with state agency executives to lead innovation initiatives. Prior to that, she led the Continuing Education division of Harrisburg University, a “start-up” university where she joined the founding team for 16 months before the University opened.
In regards to coworking, Jen says, “Coworking at The Candy Factory always makes me feel more creative, more encouraged and more jazzed about my work. I love learning about other people’s stories and having a camaraderie with folks who are traveling the entrepreneurial road. It creates a community that is genuinely interested and willing to share, which makes everyday more fun and rewarding.”
