The Candy Factory is proud to present Get Cultured with Timbrel.

Join Timbrel on Get Cultured, as she chats about a topic that is very close to her heart.

Timbrel on this weeks episode:

“I am someone who believes in supporting one another, spreading love, and building bridges. In the last year, I have seen more people filled with hatred, rage, and pain than I ever had in my life.

The black lives matter movement took mainstage last year and I am so glad that it did because it brought to light many issues our world is facing with racism, hate crimes, xenophobia, and bigotry. In the past year, Hate crimes towards Asians throughout the world have risen. Elderly Asian citizens have been the target of hate crimes and bigotry. I wanted to share my heart with you as I plead for individuals to wake up and see what is happening in our communities- worldwide.

This podcast came from my heart as I share my viewpoint on this matter. Please grab a cup of your favorite tea, find a quiet place to listen, or watch this podcast and after you are done, please reach out to your Asian neighbors and friends.”

We hope you enjoy the show and be sure to check back for future episodes coming your way every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Twice a month, join Timbrel over a cup of tea, as she explores and learns about cultures, and traditions.
