The Candy Factory is a coworking space located in the heart of Downtown Lancaster PA.  We are a community of professionals who have found a new way to work. Coworking and shared work spaces help promote business growth, creative thinking, shared brilliance and collaboration while offering an affordable office solution for small businesses, freelancers, remote workers and non-profits. The open space concept we provide offers up many advantages, from networking and collaboration opportunities to easy access to shared resources.

Our mission is to foster community and help spur the growth of small businesses in and around Lancaster City by offering the resources and support needed to encourage that growth. Drawing members from within the city but also from around the county and beyond, our community  is a diverse pool of professionals from all backgrounds.

Our memberships allow you to grow your business without the larger overhead of a traditional office and gives you access to a professional network, that is, our wonderful community. We also offer you resources and provide key elements you need to get work done, allowing you to focus on your business and its growth. We provide space for workshops and classes as well as opportunities to network with the coworking community.

We cover all utilities including business grade Wifi and our memberships include the use of our address as your professional business address. All members are added to our member directory online and Members have access to events and networking opportunities and also receive discounts to classes and programs.

Our spaces:

Phase 1 of Warehouse D is our coworking / venue space and consists of 6000 square feet in the Historic Lancaster Storage Co. Warehouse.This new innovative space has all you need to get work done. Its ideal location on the 300 Block of North Queen St allows for easy access to local shops and restaurants.

Groundworks is located right next door to Lancasters Historical Central MarketConvention Center and all the wonderful shops and restaurants the city square has to offer. With about 2800 sq feet of space in this beautiful location we offer this space to members at a discounted rate for events and workshops.

The Arch located on 118 North Water Street offers 2400 square feet of art studio space and gallery space. Located in the Steeple View Lofts building this location is perfect for local artists in need of their own studio or gallery.

coworkingWarehouseD1Our Full-Time Membership is the perfect option for someone interested in taking their business to the next level, a company looking to downsize their current office or one that would like to hire more staff but needs more space, a non-profit looking to grow their cause, a small company or freelancer who wants a downtown Lancaster address but doesn’t want the hassle or overhead of their own office space. Full timers are given 24/7 secure access to our space as well as use of the main venue for one large private event a year.

Use of Main hall as well as use of the venue for one larger event per year. This can include a private party or a launch party for your business or other public event.

Our Part Time Membership is ideal for professionals looking for a break from coffee shop hopping or working from home. Part Time Members have full use of the campus as well as conference rooms and can also use our address as their own.

Our community Membership is perfect for those who want to be involved in the community but don’t need full access. This membership gives you 2 Day Passes a month, a listing in our member directory as a community member, access to all member events, networks, discounts to classes, programs, Use of community tables on our coworking floors and the main hall. No mail box, printing or access to conference rooms is included in this membership. Conference room available at a discounted rental rate.

Warehouse D  Monthly Dues are $35.00/month, 2 Day Passes a Month plus access to the community

Parking – See the Lancaster Parking Authority website for monthly pass details. The new Queen Street garage is the closest, but Cherry Street Lot is the best deal.

We also encourage car pooling, walking or riding your bike if possible. Indoor bike parking available.

Warehouse D has two flex parking spots for clients and guests, 1st come 1st serve.
