We sometimes forget that our kiddos are tiny humans who feel all the heavy feelings we do as adults—but who have less tools in their toolbox for managing them. 

When we teach mindfulness to kids, we give them the tools to build their self-esteem, manage stress, approach challenges and adversity, and feel confident in their ability to feel the hard feelings and move through them in healthy ways.

This class will introduce mindfulness and meditation to your children through games and activities in a playful environment where they can learn, process and express all the emotions, questions and sounds that come with being a small warrior with big feelings.

About Charli

Charli has been around the Candy Factory for a few years, working with several of our members on short and long term projects and she’s excited to finally be a member under her own business! Charli is a Clarity Coach, Mindfulness Teacher, Speaker and Book Club Host for an international, virtual book club that focuses on nonfiction and memoirs.She also works with entrepreneurs to help them scale their businesses through mindset work, process optimization & social media. She is the founder of Time Hackers Unite, an organization that aims to eradicate hunger & homelessness through the education and empowerment of her fellow humans. Although not a Lancaster native, Charli came to Millersville for college in 2007, fell in love with Central Market & the greater community and loves to help people find all the hidden gems in the city. From event bartending, to nannying, to making Lanco Gift Baskets, to helping LGBTQ+ couples write their vows—she does a little bit of many things and is always looking to learn more! Charli mostly works from home with her assistants—a cat, Mr. Meowgi, and a Jack Russell named Mozzarella (Motzie) for short, who loves people so if you see her around the space, please come say hi!
