Join new member and professional poker player Woody Adams for this fun Lunch & Learn where he will teach you the basics of poker! No experience necessary 
“Our focus will be on No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em — Multi-Table Tournament strategies. We can begin to understand the principles of poker by playing toy games to start. The simple game of stay or fold very quickly demonstrates the two most important and practical principles of poker — hand ranking, and the power of position. Players will also play more high card hands and pairs, thus, beginning to grasp hand selection.
The complexity of poker comes in with advanced betting strategies. We will get into some betting strategies right away so that we can begin to play the game.”
