Welcome to Beyond The Clouds on The Sixth Floor with DJ Steve J.

Steve has previously held residencies in several Philadelphia clubs including Kung Fu NeckTie and Ortliebs but currently performs out of The Trestle Inn, Philadelphia’s premier vinyl club. Steve J plays a resonating mix of soulful classics and rare disco gems. Gaining interest in records through his father’s radio DJ career, Steve J is exclusively a vinyl DJ with a love for record seeking. He also produces his own music using a mix of record samples, drum machines and guitar. In addition to productions he has also privately released a series of his own extended disco edits. His timeless sound creates a bright and upbeat atmosphere with an intention of bringing people together. In addition to playing venues, Steve J also hosts a radio show on Great Circles and his own loft parties inspired by late 70’s discos and the days of David Mancuso.
