ZeroDay – Zero Miles, Immeasurable Progress
August 22, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
ZeroDay (in this non-hiking context) was created by Matthew Smith, founder at CoWork Greenville (Now Atlas Local), Fathom and Draft, and Really Good Emails.
In Matthews words:
“We don’t believe in the idea of work/life balance. It’s all life. We think learning and growing and sharing are necessary parts of being cool people who work in the same space. So on the first Friday of every month, we stop working for half the day. We spend the morning learning and talking about lessons learned, best practices, and some cool non-work stuff. Like how to fire clients. Or balance your budget as a freelancer. Or meditation. Or improv. Or bees. Sometimes Locals present stuff. Sometimes we bring in experts. But it’s always fun and interesting and worth it. It’s the backbone of what makes us shine.”
We’ll do signups in blocks of 10 minutes where you can literally talk about anything on your mind. I’ll share the signup sheet and we’ll add a 10 min gap between sessions for discussion, Q&A, etc.
Come caffeinated… or not, since we have coffee.
