The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania’s Women In Technology Impact Award – Entrepreneurial/Small Business.
On Monday, I got to celebrate women in technology and those making an impact at the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania WIT Event. I was honored to be recognized alongside so many talented, inspiring women, and while I usually attend these kinds of events without my kids, I felt it was important that my boys not only got to celebrate with me but also be exposed to other strong, independent women in this industry.
There were not many children at this event, but Georgie did great, and I was so happy that he could be there along with Austin to see firsthand the power of amazing women in our community. We need more kids at these events, teaching our boys equality, and respect and showing our girls that tech is not just for boys, and so much is possible. It was an enjoyable experience, and I was so glad they were there.
I thank them for continuing to support me as well as my family, friends, and community. I couldn’t do this without you.
