Philadelphia’s CityCoHo is the city’s largest green oriented, sustainable and environmentally conscious coworking space. Steps from Philadelphia’s iconic 30th Street Station, CityCoHo serves a community which values both social and environmental impact. The Candy Factory team met with co-founders, Max Zahniser and Drew Foulkes to learn more about the partner’s venture and their plans for the future.
In partnership with Sustainability Nexus, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, CityCoHo is an integral component of the region’s larger movement. There in, the coworking space connects industry leaders — innovators, thinkers, doers — with foundational resources and programming including networking events, group discussions and professional development opportunities.
Additionally, CityCoHo addresses the severe fragmentation of project acquisition and development. Their systematic approach to environmental planing and implementation — green roof, high performance windows, zero VOC flooring — has targeted LEED Platinum Certification. In fact, it’s this strict adherence to environmental responsibility that has attracted members from the Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network, Sierra Club and more.
CityCoHo is a catalyst for sustainability, connectedness and community enhancement. Interested in learning more about CityCoHo’s mission? Visit them online at www.citycoho.com.
