Success is an Opinion: Exploring the Importance of Goal Setting as it Relates to Business Success
People may be born privileged, talented or intelligent but they are not born successful. By definition success means “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one’s goals.” The key term being “one’s goals” which are personal, individualistic and therefore one’s opinion. In this presentation I will explore the importance of defining your personal meaning of success and how that correlates with success in business.
Sarah Lanphier, founder and CEO of Nuts About Granola, LLC, graduated in 2009 with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Elizabethtown College where she founded Nuts About Granola, LLC in conjunction with her business classes. Nuts About Granola branded products have been featured on the Rachael Ray Show, Emmy Awards gift bags, Better Homes and Gardens and most recently partnered with the Martha Stewart Café to produce an exclusive line for their stores.
