Recently, The Candy Factory has offered a sponsorship program wherein local companies can become “SquareHolders” by purchasing a square, in a variety of sizes and pricing, for a sponsorship wall in their fabulous coworking space.
Steeple View Lofts—in association with Landis Communities which is the umbrella organization operating Landis Homes Retirement Communithy in Lititz, Landis at Home, and other services for seniors—was the first to jump at the chance to become an official SquareHolder. Steeple View Lofts is an adaptive reuse community of 36 apartments for adults age 55 and up. The apartments range in size from approximately 700 to 1,000 square feet, and are located above the historic Miesse Candies Factory and the Friendship Heart Art Gallery.
Steeple View Lofts focuses on a sense of community as it has excellent walkability to all of downtown Lancaster! In addition to creating a safe and welcoming place for adults above the age of 55 to live, Steeple View Lofts has also given back to the community by bringing the space that Miesse Candies now inhabits to the table so they could grow their business downtown, as well as the space where Friendship Heart Art Gallery inhabits, which provides art instruction and gallery space to those with intellectual challenges.
