JUNE 4TH
Opening Night @Clipper Magazine Stadium
Summer will be here before we know it and that means it’s baseball season! June 4th is the official opening night of the Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium! The Barnstormers will be facing off against the York Revolution. Join them as they honor Lancaster’s Healthcare heroes with a special opening ceremony. The night will feature a tee-shirt giveaway and of course a fireworks display for the grand finale. During the game, they will be raising money for Project SOS, a fund for stimulus check donations to be distributed to individuals who have experienced setbacks due to COVID-19.

Cider Donut Festival
If you love Cherry Crest Adventure Farm’s signature cider donuts this next event is perfect for you! They will be holding their first-ever Cider Donut Festival! The day will feature special menu items including a cider donut breakfast sandwich and their delicious cider donut sundaes. Enjoy donut games and activities including a donut decorating station, and special donut photo ops so you can snap some instaworthy pics! Plus, you will have the unique opportunity to take a wagon ride into the pasture and hand-feed their cows donuts!

ODC Food Truck Fest @Stauffer Park
The Occupational Development Center is hosting its 3rd annual Food truck festival in Manheim Township’s Stauffer Park from 11 am to 3 pm. The event benefits both the Occupational Development Center and the Manheim Township Recreation Department. DJ Dennis Mitchell of Fun 101.3, will be on-site as well as some adorable, adoptable puppies from the Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center! The event will feature over 10 food trucks in addition to some other fun activities!

JUNE 5TH
Hands-Only CPR Class
Beginning at 11 am, Janet Sierk will be hosting a Heart of Lancaster Fundraising event at The Candy Factory Coworking and Social Club! For a suggested donation of at least $10, they will be offering a hands-only CPR class in both English and Spanish. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association.

Strawberry Festival @The Country Barn
The Country Barn is hosting its Strawberry Festival this Saturday and Sunday. Join them on the farm for a berry good time for the whole family with Barnyard Kingdom activities, fun strawberry contests, live music, and of course, delicious strawberry goodies! There will be duck races, train rides, a candy cannon, and strawberry pie, and shortcake eating contests!

Gigi’s Playhouse is the only worldwide network of Down syndrome achievement centers that changes lives through free, results-driven programs for individuals of all ages, their families & communities. In helping individuals with Down syndrome achieve their best of all, we also advance our larger vision of global acceptance for people of all abilities. GiGi’s was established 16 years ago and has 48+ locations. The Lancaster location opened on January 11, 2020, thanks to the collective efforts of families, friends, educators, therapists, and community members who worked together to make the dream a reality. The space provides a physical location for participants of all ages and their families to participate in therapeutic-based, educational, and career training programming.
Join Meghan McLane for a super special class at West End Yoga this Friday at 7 to raise money for Gigi’s playhouse or join Gigi’s Playhouse this Saturday for their GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge Dance-a-thon.
