We’re excited to announce a new initiative here at TCF starting in April – Monday Flow on The Sixth Floor.
Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed, and behind in your work? Do you have a hard time focusing on projects or feeling immersed for long periods of time? You’re not alone. Many of us have been in a fog since the pandemic started. Social media distractions and 24/7 news cycles have disrupted our focus and have us feeling less in control.
Studies show some of us are languishing, and the consistent ping from notifications prevents us from entering a “flow state.”
We need to regain control and get back into the flow, and TCF is here to help. We’re excited to bring you Monday Flow on The Sixth Floor. Every Monday from 9 AM – 3 PM, the Sixth Floor will be a space to focus.
With an environment conducive to concentration, we’ll ask those that join us to turn off their phones and notifications and come to get deep, focused work done around others doing the same: no calls, no notifications, no meetings, just a deep flow state.
If this sounds lovely, we invite you to join us for an hour or all day.
Monday Flow is open to Members and day passers.
“In positive psychology, a flow state, also known colloquially as being in the zone, is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by the complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting transformation in one’s sense of time.” Wikipedia
