Meet Galen Wenger!

Galen grew up on a peach farm in Chesapeake, Virginia. He graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a degree in Philosophy and Theology. Following his graduation, he lived in Washington, D.C. for a few years before moving to Lancaster in 2012. Galen and his wife, Tiffany, now live in northeastern Lancaster City with their cat and a dog (Galen notes: They do not get along).

“I’ve worked for Community IT Innovators in Washington, DC, since 2009.” Galen continues, “We provide IT services to non-profit and social mission organizations in the Washington, DC, area. I’m now on my fifth job title with the company – Centralized Services Manager. I help oversee the systems that we use to secure and maintain our clients’ computers.”
Galen and Tiffany enjoy traveling when they can, and Galen enjoys writing in his free time. He also enjoys reading quite a bit—specifically novels and non-fiction/social commentary books. He’s also a lifelong New York Mets baseball fan. “I’m also an Arsenal (English Premier League) soccer fan. And I’ve become a Philadelphia Flyers fan by marriage,” Galen says.

Make sure you say hello to Galen when you see him around!
