Age2Age is a national consulting practice guiding clients to envision, design and launch age-friendly, intergenerational projects across multiple disciplines and business sectors.
In 2018, Chris Kennedy, Age2Age Founder and Senior Projects Architect, moved from Silicon Valley CA to Lancaster PA, calling this “A Microcosm of America and a Magnet for Aging Boomers!”
Age2Age clients in Lancaster include Lancaster City, Lancaster Area Senior Services, GardenSpot Communities, and Landis Communities, in addition to AARP, LeadingAge, Institute for Age-Friendly Housing, Spirit Living Group, Alzheimer’s Orange County, and the World Health Organization.
Chris is a nationally recognized thought leader in the field of positive aging, with particular expertise in innovative models of housing. She holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. Her multidisciplinary career spans planning and business development in the fields of aging, transportation, telecommunications, and high technology.
While working in the tech world of Silicon Valley when the dot.bomb hit, she began to survey future trends, and prepare for the next wave of innovation and opportunity. From her career vantage point, she foresaw the collision of aging baby boomers with the suburban housing paradigm. As an evangelist of the World Health Organization’s Age-Friendly Cities and Communities Program, Chris had guided cross-sector collaboratives to lead their municipality to receive the Age-Friendly designation.
So what does that mean?
Basically, Chris supports Forward-Focused Organizations to envision, design and launch projects aligned with the World Health Organization’s Age-Friendly Cities and Communities Program and produces Conferences, Keynotes and Workshops that showcase the challenges – and the opportunities – of the aging demography.
Bottom line: Chris connects people and possibilities so we can live great lives… as long as we live!
