Member Spotlight
Allie Hardy of
Pennsylvania Nutrition Services

TCF Member, Allie Hardy, is on a mission to make nutrition more accessible for families, professionals, and everyone in between. Whether she’s creating content for Today’s Dietitian or building tools that demystify healthy eating, her goal is simple: feeding ourselves and our families shouldn’t feel like a full-time job.

Writing fuels much of Allie’s day-to-day. She writes everything from blogs and career development articles to educational materials for healthcare professionals. Last year, she designed a systems thinking course for community nutrition educators across Pennsylvania. Her current project? A presentation helping school nutrition staff navigate the frenzy around current food topics with science-backed confidence.

Allie actively shapes the broader nutrition landscape. She serves on the Manheim Township School District’s superintendent education committee and the advisory board for the Pennsylvania Nutrition Educators Network, because making lasting change means stepping up where it counts.

The “Why” Behind Her Work

For Allie, it all comes down to equity.

“One of the biggest motivating factors is just looking at how our food system is set up and knowing that it is not equal or equally accessible for a lot of the people that I work with,” she shares.

Her mission is clear: make nutrition easier to understand, apply, and access.

Supporting Families

Allie also works closely with families through Pennsylvania’s early intervention program, helping parents of little ones (birth to age three) feel more confident about feeding their kids. Her advice? Keep it simple.

“For them, a portion is about a tablespoon,” she says, an eye-opening fact for many concerned parents. “Helping parents understand they’re doing a great job, that their child probably is getting enough nutrition, can be so reassuring.”

Her approach centers around delivering “really simple, actionable pieces” that cut through the noise and empower families.

When at TCF, Allie makes sure to plug into the fun and supportive energy of The Candy Factory. By joining our many clubs, including our Kickass Chat women’s group, she’s found more than just a workspace; she’s found community.

“It’s not one specific moment, but just being able to drop into all the different clubs and groups,” Allie says. “It’s just nice that there’s something for everyone.”

For Allie, TCF offers what every great coworking space should: flexibility, inspiration, and real human connection.
