A Photography Exhibit and Multimedia Performance Comes to The Arch on March 6, 2015 at 6 p.m. at The Arch, 118 N. Water St., Lancaster, PA.
Matthew Lester of Matthew Lester Photography and Jason Mundok of Wood Stove House invite you to a special photography exhibit and multimedia performance entitled RiverSound Project.
Lester’s imagery reflects scenes captured in December 2014 on the lower Mississippi River in Louisiana. The event will also include an animated slideshow of additional images accompanied by Mundok’s live performance of an ambient music score composed exclusively for the event.
“I was interested in exploring how humans have changed the natural environment, particularly in a place like the lower Mississippi River that is filled with oil refineries, chemical Lester_010514_1239plants and large cargo ships,” says Lester.
The partnership came to fruition after Mundok’s recent Lancasphere event, a monthly music series featuring regional alternative and ambient music performers.
Guests will enjoy a 15 minute slide show and music accompaniment at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. The performance will be recorded and made available online.
A selection of Lester’s featured imagery is available online. The Candy Factory invites you to the RiverSound Project on March 6, 2015 at 6 p.m. at The Arch, a Candy Factory community art gallery and collective. Images will also be included in Steeple View Lofts Hallway Gallery.
We look forward to seeing you!
