On Palm Sunday, March 20, 2016, FOX presented a two-hour musical event in New Orleans, LA which depicted the 2000-year-old story of the last hours of Jesus Christ’s life. Set in modern day, THE PASSION followed the dramatic and transformative story of Jesus of Nazareth. Narrated by New Orleans native Tyler Perry — The Haves and The Have NotesGone Girl — a dynamic cast helped to unfold this moving and powerful story.

Candy Factory member, Greenfish Labs brought a team of 10 to NOLA to capture this inspirational story in 3D virtual reality. In promotion of the nationally televised live event, Greenfish Labs interviewed cast member Chris Daughtry, rock musician and American Idol finalist.

“I think it’s very reflective of the story,” said Daughtry. “This city has risen together on numerous occasions as a community. I think that’s what this story is about. This story has never been told this way before and we can all exist despite all of our difference; despite your religious beliefs or upbringing. I think it’s about acceptance and forgiveness.”

The crew spent over a week onsite, gathering content used in FOX’s marketing and social media.

“We proved this past week that our creative abilities were not limited by our geography,” started President and Founder, Sovanna Mam. “We took pride knowing that our creative team from Central Pennsylvania was recognized by those in Hollywood as their peers, and that we were an integral part of the fabric of this special project.”
