Hotel Neon is the Philadelphia-based trio of Michael Tasselmyer, Andrew Tasselmyer, and Steven Kemner. Together they create immersive and atmospheric soundscapes aided by projected film and images.
Known for its heavy emphasis on enveloping walls of sound, Hotel Neon also utilizes subtle melodies and improvisation to create a richly layered musical experience, rewarding any level of listener scrutiny. Since forming in early 2013, the group has released three full-length albums through acclaimed labels Home Normal and Fluid Audio, with plans to release its 4th and most intricate album to date through Spain’s ARCHIVES label in Spring 2018.

Jason Sloan is an electronic musician, composer, and sound artist practicing in Baltimore, Md. His work explores immateriality and its relationship to memory, systems and the virtual world. Besides his notoriety in the ambient and space music scenes for close to two decades, Jason has released over a dozen solo albums, collaborations and has been included on multiple various artist collections.

The Sixth Floor is an intimate performance space located on the top floor of The Candy Factory, a coworking space in downtown Lancaster that occupies a beautifully restored warehouse. Please be prompt. Our vintage freight elevator will be operating to take you up to The Sixth Floor between the time doors open until the start of the show. Don’t worry, it will be waiting to take you back down for an hour following the show! Stairs are accessible anytime. We hope you enjoy this unique experience in Lancaster city, where the performance is our focus.

The Sixth Floor is at 342 N. Queen St. in Lancaster but we’re located in the rear of the building. Street parking (free after 6 p.m.) is available on Queen St. and Lemon St. and limited parking is available in front of our building in spots marked TCF. Enter that parking lot from Market St. If you’re walking find our address on Queen St. and walk through the brick arch marked Building Character to the last door just left of the entrance to The Candy Factory.
