Decades is a boutique bowling alley and arcade with a full service restaurant and bar coming to the historic Stahr Armory building on the 400 block of N. Queen St. in Lancaster, PA, just up the street from The Candy Factory. What??? Now that sounds cool. And it is.

We got a sneak peek at Decade’s brand new digs over the weekend during one of a string of soft openings that they offered through a clever invite on social media. The official grand opening happens this week on Wednesday, March 13. The freshly renovated art deco vibe, and exceptional service made for a fun and casual evening out, including a nostalgic trip down memory lane playing few games of Jacks To Open, a pinball machine that I played endlessly at my local neighborhood pizza shop as a kid…way back in the 80s.

With open hours starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, Decades welcomes the entire family until 9 p.m. each night. Afterwards, it’s time for the grown-ups to dust off their old-school video game chops with a signature cocktail and over 25 retro arcade games. If video games aren’t your thing, swap your shoes and reserve one of six bowling lanes, or grab a table and enjoy some excellent fare from Decade’s chef driven menu.

The fun keeps rolling until midnight on most nights, or all the way until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights when you don’t have to go home, but unfortunately you can’t stay there!
