Ben Franklin Technology Partners has officially launched their TechCelerator at The Candy Factory. Aimed at creating mobility for small businesses in the Lancaster County area, Ben Franklin offers operational assistance and entrepreneurial support to emerging tech-based companies.

Here’s the big news—they are currently looking for new projects to support with their Big Idea Contest. This contest is for anyone planning or developing an innovative product, process, or software application; has a business with sales less than $500,000; and is located in Lancaster or Lebanon Counties.

The winner of the contest would win up to $50,000 cash as well as a six-month membership to The Candy Factory including workspace. Additionally, the winner will receive a one-year pass to seminars offered by Ben Franklin’s eMarketing Center and a free consultation on how to access federal grant money from Innovation Partnership (valued at $3,000).
The contest is now open with a deadline of June 18th at 5pm. For rules and entry information, visit bigidea.benfranklin.org!
